  By far the best food I had while staying in destin! I visit Florida for a couple weeks every summer and we returned to this restaurant twice because of the quality of service and the taste of the food.
  
  I got the fish tacos and macaroni and cheese! To die for!
  We also tried different gumbos and all of them tasted fresh.
  They also serve a BBQ pasta and it is amazing!
  
  You must try this place while visiting Destin! There is nothing negative I found in this restaurant for a table of 8, we all loved our food!
  
  I tried to get photos but everyone devoured their food before I got a chance!

  REALLY disappointed in this restaurant.  We were excited to go all week because the menu looks so good.  There were five of us on a Friday when they first opened for lunch.  We were seated very quickly, and the server was pleasant.  We ordered several different items, planning on all sharing.  The Hurricane Shrimp were good, and the Chicken & Sausage Gumbo was OK (Spicy, which I like, but be careful if you don't like that).  
  
  The downfall came with the entrees.  I ordered the burger medium, and it came out horribly over cooked.  It was beyond even well done.  The fish my friend ordered was cooked similarly.  We both took one bite, and could not eat any more. The muffuletta was OK, but only slightly toasted, not pressed.  The worst part was the server taking away barely eaten plates of food, without anyone asking for a to go box, and she did not even ask if everything was OK.  Unfortunately, the worst dining experience we had in Destin all week.  Based on this experience, I would not go back.

  We are long time residents of the area and have been to 790 many times over the years. Friday we invited friends to join us for dinner. We were surprised that when we arrived the dining room was almost empty and given it was the last weekend of the season we were surprised.
  Enjoyed cocktails and ordered a few items from the menu. "Award winning Gumbo" was inedible, nothing good came out of the kitchen manager doesn't care.
  Last but not least my girl left here glasses at the table called said they couldn't find them and stopped by next day and they were right where she left them. In short. They just don't care.
  To bad, great location.

  I like this restaurant but it's hit or miss I notice on some dishes price went up and size, portions went down.
  Why restaurants do this is beyond me. People that are locals/regulars obviously notice and that makes me not want to support this establishment!!
  Service same thing, you either get a good server or a dingy one

  Is this place a joke? Came here for a light lunch and enjoyed it until our bartender left for a while... (to go smoke) which is what he told another waitress. My boyfriend asked for a glass of water to one waitress and she walked away without even acknowledging us, and then he asked another and she walked passed us yelling "I'm too busy". Excuse me what?? Isn't your job to have hospitality and seamless service for all guest? I'm disgusted with this place. The hostess watched this all go down and was decent enough to tell another waitress who brought us a glass of water. Can't get over the rudeness. What a waste of money. Go to the restaurants and bars down the beach and avoid this one at all cost if you want to enjoy your vacay even just a little bit!!!
